Olive leaf extract has also been shown to destroy or inhibit the growth of many tapeworm, hookworm, flatworm, and roundworm parasites. According to Dr. Morton Walker, in his book "Olive Leaf Extract - Nature's Antibiotic", the beneficial effects of olive leaf extract are enhanced when the body is in an alkaline state. Most people have acidic body chemistries. A large drug company did research on an isolated component of Olive Leaf extract in the 1960's. They reportedly abandoned it when then found that this isolate, although it worked incredibly well in test tubes, did not work in the human body (due to an absorption issue) as an isolate. When this isolate is contained within the olive leaf, and concentrated in the extract, it is effective. The drug company left olive leaf behind and did not pursue marketing it, even though it was a superior antimicrobial agent to probably anything they had then or since. Why did they do this? We don't know. But consider this. Only unique, isolated molecules are patentable. Drug companies can not patent natural molecules and do not market natural substances as remedies. No law is preventing drug companies from marketing natural substances. We can only assume they do not because they can not have an exclusive on a natural product or molecule, and therefore can not charge excessively high prices. They could still make millions and bring relief from suffering, but that pales in comparison to the billions that can be made when you are the exclusive producer of a patented, highly overpriced drug. Furthermore, if the isolated component from olive leaves (calcium elonolate ) did work in the body, the drug company would have likely altered the molecule so they could patent it. When you alter a molecule of mother nature, you get different effects, including potentially deadly side effects!
On one hand drug companies are saying that natural products/remedies do not work as well as drugs or at all. On the other hand, many of these same companies actually manufacture vitamins, and/or are trying to modify natural molecules and then patent them for their exclusive sale.

Suggested Use:
Maintenance - One to three Vcaps™ per day. Take, ideally, on an empty or relatively empty stomach, such as with fresh, raw juice, fruits, or vegetables. It is appropriate, however, to take with other foods. It is more important to take this product anytime than not at all.
Intensive USAGE: 3-5 Vcaps™, 3 times per day (for a total of 9-15 per day), or as directed by a health care professional. Apply other aspects of nutrition/health. Intensive usage should be cycled 10 days on and 5-10 days off due to the echinacea. This level of usage may initiate cleansing reactions.
